Community Health Network Areas (CHNA)

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health created CHNAs several years ago to promote local coalition development to solve community health problems. The goal of CHNAs is healthier people in healthier communities in Massachusetts through community-based prevention planning and health promotion.

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health website provides contact information for each CHNA as well as background information on principles and the approach CHNAs use to reach their goals.
