Background: Previously area director for the American Cancer Society; manager of Family Education Program (adolescent pregnancy prevention) at the Children's Study Home in Springfield; youth advisor to Protect Teen Health group (HIV/AIDS prevention) at the Springfield Girls' Club Family Center.
