Policy Statements & Policy Briefs
Public health debates of the day tend to involve much more than a focus on health. To better inform our partners and the public, from time to time we release policy statements and policy briefs about public health topics that are currently facing a lot of attention. We try our best to conduct a thorough assessment of the research and evidence base before discussing our findings with our organizational team. In some cases, we decide to take a position on a particular issue. In other cases, we decide to release a policy brief which summarizes the evidence base about the particular issue. In both cases, we hope the information provided will contribute a perspective often lacking in public debates: how proposed changes impact the health of our communities.
